  1. Commented to a coworker just yesterday, six days in to the month of June, haven’t received the first email regarding pride month festivities and celebrations. No pride flag hanging at the government facility I work at, no pronouns displayed on email signatures, Teams profiles, etc.

    We managed to work through not having Black History month events, Women’s history events, Asian/Pacific Islander events, and other “celebrations”

    Who knew we could function in a professional environment without calling out people’s heritage and personal choices/differences.

    No doubt there are those that see it differently, but my observation is that the focus on people’s differences wasn’t helpful in many cases.
